Golden Valley has been voted the Champion Beer of Wales, 2004/5 by a blind tasting panel at the CAMRA hosted Great Welsh Beer and Cider Festival. Finalist at the CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain 2005. A deep, golden coloured beer created using three types of Optic malt and only progress hops, all grown within the UK. This single varietal ale has all the characteristics of this 'soft' hop: floral notes and a gentle but pervasive bitterness, making it a very drinkable and thirst quenching beer.
